NARRATIVE
A series of architectural interventions were created in order to open up the resort’s buildings to Maui’s extraordinary landscape, while employing a palatte of natural materials to evoke a sense of Hawaii’s warm hospitality.
A wooden spiral staircase, recalling the curves of a Hawaiian canoe, leads guests down to the resort’s main restaurant and infinity pools.
